This series of postcards is based on two fonts, Trajan and Lithos, designed by font designer Carol Twombly. The postcards emphasize the characteristics and beauty of the fonts.
In the first postcard about Trajan, the letter J is magnified and used as a column, while the rest of the letters are placed on top of the letter J, echoing the origin of the Trajan font from Trajan's Column.
The postcard with the letter Q highlights the unique and elegant letter Q of the Trajan font. The postcard featuring the Lithos font emphasizes the special uppercase letter R of Lithos.
